Job description / Role
We are looking for an Executive Director for our client, a newly established TVET, to be based in Rabigh, Saudi Arabia.
The Executive Director shall:
* Establish and maintain a successful and prosperous technical vocational education and training (TVET) institution by strategizing, leading, organizing, staffing, controlling, monitoring and reporting on operations and programs. As the organisations leader create an environment that is conducive for delivering excellent vocational training to students resulting in qualified and competent technicians and operators. Treat all staff, faculty and students with respect and create a welcoming atmosphere that breeds success.
* Provide leadership and management of the following functions: the creation, monitoring and reporting on strategic and tactical comprehensive business plans; development of supporting goals and measurement of performance to approved goals; organizational and staff development; tight coordination with academic service provider on service delivery and performance, liaison with public, government, educational authorities, sponsors, affiliated companies, and other stakeholders; promotion of the Institute and marketing of its service offerings to potentials sponsors, funders, students and the Power and Water sector
Requirements
- B.Sc Degree in Mechanical, Chemical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent and Degree in Business Management.
- 15-20 years experience in a similar position as the administrator and leader of TVET or similar educational institutions, preferably with significant Middle Eastern experience.
Position Specific Skills:
- Related experience in technical training and organizational management;
- Good command of English and Arabic;
- Negotiation and contract management;
- Financial planning, control and business management;
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office & other IT Applications.
