Executive Director for Sales and Marketing

Job description / Role

The primary objective of the Executive Director for Sales and Marketing is to drive sales of infrastructure developments. the position will also help define the strategic direction of the infrastructure business over the next 5 years. The position will focus on developing detailed marketing plans, establishing budgets and driving implementation strategies for specific infrastructure developments.

The Executive Director for Sales and Marketing to be based in Bahrain will:
* Develop detailed marketing plans, establish budgets and drive implementation strategies for specific Financial Services infrastructure developments.
* Identify and assess the strategic options available to the real estate business and develop and implement innovative solutions.
* Identify weaknesses in current Sales and Marketing capabilities and recommend appropriate solutions.
* Develop and implement sales, marketing and communications plans across the entire portfolio of development infrastructure projects. Identifying critical success factors, milestones and resource requirements as appropriate.
* Establish budgets and agree upon sales targets with the project company Sales and Marketing Mangers.
* Establish business relationships with specialist consultants based on honesty, integrity, and transparency.
* Direct and evaluate all market research and present to the senior management and project companies.
* Identify and evaluate all available market research within the Financial Investment Infrastructure market.
* Perform market and financial studies to track market potential for the achievement of set objectives.
* Translate the marketing and sales strategy into action, by increasing the customer base and sales turnover, thereby generating revenue.
* Build and maintain a comprehensive database of business contacts covering the key target markets.
* The Executive Director for Sales and Marketing will lead the development and application of policies and procedures for both the Sales and Marketing department and the Financial Services infrastructure projects.
* Conduct other duties and special projects as required.
* Coach and develop staff in the Sales and Marketing team.
* Recruit, train and mentor Sales and Marketing staff in the projects.
* Be responsible for performance evaluation and monitoring department KPIs.

Requirements

* Possess an MBA or equivalent marketing qualification.
* Proven ability in the implementation of successful Sales and Marketing strategies.
* 10-15 years experience in a similar position within a real estate or infrastructure development company.
* Strong analytical and numerical skills.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Proven ability leading Sales and Marketing initiatives for complex infrastructure projects, driving business transformation and delivering exceptional results under tight deadlines.
* Excellent understanding of real estate economics and the key drivers of project profitability within the Financial Investment Infrastructure market.
* Executive Director for Sales and Marketing will possess excellent project management skills.
