Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Job Purpose:
- To lead, manage and drive through the successful planning and execution of the entire life cycle of each event assigned to the role holder
- To achieve revenue and profit targets
- To maintain existing and develop new customer relationships
- To develop new events and conferences including the research necessary to assist in a successful launch

Job Accountabilities
- Achievement of sales revenue/profit targets
- Successful event management
- Number of calls made per day
- Time of call duration
- Effective coordination of operations and logistics
- Growth of existing portfolio by generating new ideas
- Number of new projects (successful)
- Management of the sales team reporting directly to the Exhibition Manager

Requirements

- Significant event sales management experience with a demonstrable successful sales record of high value sales activity
- Full understanding of event sales cycles
- Computer literate and proficient in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Speaks and writes clearly and fluently in English to both individuals and groups
