Reports to:
PROCUREMENT MANAGER
Shared Vision:
To be a major Hydrocarbon Producer in Oman
Goals:
Provides daily checking of vendor’s performance and solve all problems in connection with this activity.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for the timely follow-up and delivery monitoring of the equipment for early stage crude oil processing plants in Oman, such as Stationary equipment, Rotary Equipment, Skid Packages, Valves, E&I items, as well as Piping packages and packages relating to upstream work, all in accordance with Project Schedule, best principles of Procurement, Company’s policy and business ethical standards.

· Must be willing to travel worldwide according with project needs;

· Strong analytical skills and understanding of the Procurement Expediting Process;

· Lead interactions between Vendors, Engineering, Project Management, QC & Production/Site Team during entire Purchase Order execution phase;

· Ensure to obtain from Vendor all necessary documents for review and approval prior to fabrication, till approval for manufacturing;

· Coordinate supplies weekly/monthly progress reports and their circulation within the Project Team;

· Cooperate with QC manager at TPI (Third Party Inspection Agency) for Vendors facilities tests and inspections till positive FAT

· Proactively identify and mitigate risks at all stages of Procurement Expediting;

· Interface with PMT team, Engineering, Manufacturing, QA/QC and Accounting to achieve performance Procurement Expediting objectives.

· Evaluate and record Vendor performances through company system.

· Must be able to work under pressure;

Requirements

Qualifications:

· Minimum requirement is for an undergraduate degree in a business related field with 5 years experience;

· Must be able to work with the team in developing improved work processes;

· Competency in MS Office and planning SW (MS Project as minimum);

· 5+ years experience in a similar position;

· Fluent English is a must;
