The RoleThe Role- Responsible for monitoring material delivery requirements and expedite accordingly so as to ensure timely arrival of material on site and or into stock. - It requires a detailed methodical approach and an ability to analyze dates and delivery information. - Expeditor service aims to prevent problems arising due to shortages of material or to alleviate and quickly resolve problems once they appear. - Maintains correct delivery stats information and status codes in SAP. - Produces and analyses delivery status reports. - Monitors orders activities and ensure Require-On-Site dates are adjusted in consultation with the Buyers and end users. - Works with forwarding agents and shipping companies and co-ordinate logistics/materials handling. - Works closely with the Logistics coordinator for all correspondences related to Supreme Council as well as other issues related to importing hazardous materials. |
RequirementsRequirements- Related BSc degree - HND level with minimum of 3 years in the Material function. (preferably in an oil 7 gas environment). - Ability to communicate and to work under pressure and to carry our detailed analysis of delivery dates/material plans and must have good English communication skills. |
