Job description / Role
Client Technical Office requires an experienced Architect to provide technical input and support to the existing technical team on pre and post contract projects.
This role includes:
- Design Development
- Documentation review
- Quality Assurance - inspections on site, progress, reporting, monitoring all aspects of projects
- Coordination with Consultants both pre and post contract
- Monitoring and trouble shooting post contract coordination.
- Working as part of the team on the portfolio of construction projects.
Requirements
- Should hold a degree in Architecture from a British University with a minimum of 10 years experience.
- Should be a member of a professional organization such as RIBA, ARB or AIA.
- Qatar construction experience is preferred, GCC considered.
- English should be the first language..
- The successful candidate will be joining a small team which is proactive, hard working and multi tasking.

The umbrella of HBK Real Estate covers the development and management of the property portfolio of the HBK Holding Group; effectively a turnkey operation. The development puts HBK Real Estate in the role of the Clients Technical Office; including the preparation of project briefs, appointment of Consultants, monitoring approvals obtained from Government departments, sign off on designs, tendering, contract administration and management through to completion and hand over of the project for operation. Once completed the projects are added to the portfolio and are managed in house. The team ensures much of the facility management on the portfolio is carried out in house with our engineers and technicians.
