Experiential Graphic Designer

Job description / Role

We are looking for an individual who can support our worldwide base of diverse clients and projects by bringing a passion for creative visual solutions, an understanding of brand, and an ability to translate this into communications systems and environments.

Our ideal candidate is a strong 2D and 3D designer who will be required to quickly generate multiple initial concepts and develop them into viable design solutions. A strong emphasis on integrating concepts into built environments with EGD solutions is what we are looking for.

This individual will coordinate between multiple internal projects teams, fabricators and clients. Projects will often cover multiple design disciplines including retail, gaming events, sporting events, live activations and consulting, allowing for cross pollination between graphic design, environmental graphic design, brand strategy and architecture.

Requirements

- Strong conceptual thinker who is able to translate strategic thinking into visual solutions.
- Bachelor's degree in graphic design, environmental graphic design, information design, communication design or similar.
- Minimum 5 years experience in graphic design and production Experience in project work involving signage systems and wayfinding programs required.
- Direct experience with the development and implementation of brand strategy, especially as it translates to built environments and customer experiences.
- Excellent analytical, problem solving and communication skills Works well in an interdisciplinary, fast-paced environment.
- Excellent presentation skills with direct experience presenting to clients Experience leading a project from concept to implementation, managing consultants and leading teams Experience with the built environment, comprehension of architectural scales, sections, plans and elevations a must Ability to visualize ideas in two or three dimensions Strong typography, composition and information design skills Writing skills a definite advantage Experience in digital technology related to brand experience a strong advantage Software Competency required: Adobe Creative Suite with CADtools, Dreamweaver, After Effects, or Flash; coding knowledge a strong advantage Ability to work in 3D modeling programs such as SketchUp is a strong advantage Ability to work in Revit for signage programming is a strong advantage Ability to design and deliver websites is a plus, but not required but a definite advantage:
