The RoleThe RoleAs an Expert 4G Optimisation, you will Utilises WIMAX/LTE experience to ensure that the Radio Network Node is world class and that customer perception is optimised. Knowledge transferee for the exiting team. You be deciding on radio features and provide expertise on optimising and tuning the Radio Network, define recommended strategies and principles for Radio Network optimisation ,Initiate new ideas of optimization , and initiate new way of reporting to reflect the network capacity and quality. Responsibilities should also include: Monitoring overall Radio Network performance and takes any necessary action to improve it. Ensuring that the radio network quality KPI's are of world class standard. Ensuring that newly integrated sites are tuned and provide optimum performance with reference to existing nodes. Clearing Trouble Tickets on time. Performing parameter consistency checks in the network and proposes new parameter values to enhance the network overall quality. Performing related tuning on load sharing features. Aiding in developing the competitiveness of junior radio optimisation engineers. Providing technical interface between Network Core and Radio group for new node integration which has direct impact on subscriber perception. Providing technical expertise for the radio optimisation. Providing reliable monthly reporting figures for the Radio Network performance to the higher management, i.e Exco, QTEL group, TRA. |
RequirementsRequirementsTo be considered, you must have a university degree and preferred in Communication Engineering. A minimum of 6 years of related working experience demonstrated at least 3 year's working experience in Huawei Wimax Radio optimization,Huawei LTE experience (at least worked on live LTE Trial). * Good MS Office skills. * Familiar in MS Excel statistical functions. * Good problem solving skills. * Good project management skills. * Good communication skills. * Very good written and spoken English. * Good written and spoken Arabic is desirable.. |
