Job description / Role
As the Expert- Information Security you will be responsible for effective monitoring and analysis of Information Security Incidents, Monitoring of Security threats, Complying to security controls as defined by security policies, certification and regulatory, acting as the point of contact for ongoing security implementation, security improvements, supporting IS audit activities, security ticketing processes. He/She shall analyse the Security and Monitoring system on daily basis, providing Information security reports on daily/weekly/monthly and as required by the CISO and Management.
You will be responsible of providing day-to-day security support, undertaking security compliance monitoring and system reviews on new & current systems, identifying, investigating, escalating and successful resolution of security incidents, liaising with, customer representatives, technical staff and other teams (e.g. Security Administration, Internal Audit, Risk Management) to interpret IS Protection and technical security standards, investigating and recommending ways to improve current security management processes & procedures, reviewing and reporting risks/ communication with business units, assisting in the design and implementation of SOPs on ISM . SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) needs to be developed, analysing and categorising security risks identified across all sources / processes, assisting with risk management process, participating in security projects and initiative.
Responsibilities shall also include the following:
* Planing and communicating awareness program to all end users on Information Security or incident response or other security domain areas.
* Planning and scheduling maintenance of ISM documents and related manuals.
* Planning and scheduling regular activities related to ISM Audits, information security implementation projects and security vulnerability assessments.
* Planning information security measures to secure Nawras Information Assets based on continual review of the security environment.
* Coordinating ISM Audit exercises and support ISM team in implementing the audit recommendations.
* Coordinating and liaising with market experts to keep up to date with market development in Security and Audit domain.
* Reporting weekly performance update to ISM Management and TOP Management when required.
* Reporting of information security incidents to the team and IT Management.
* Reporting and tracking of Audit recommendations.
* Reporting monthly ISM KPI's to management.
* Providing inputs to ISM and IT projects that have an Information Security impact.
* Reporting treats and risks to infrastructure to concerned department.
Requirements
You should have a bachelor degree in computer science or information systems with a minimum of 6 years working experience in security Implementation,management experience with network security / compliance monitoring tool and vulnerability management system + experience in penetration testing, detection tools such as fedilis and threatgrid, DPI tools, risk and vulnerability assessments and risk mitigation with knowledge in packet design system, communicating with all levels (customers, project management, engineers, developers, management, etc.)
* Good MS Office skills
* Knowledge of Windows, Solaris, Unix, Linux, Network devices & Information Security Platform
* Good problem solving skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Good written and spoken English
* Good written and spoken Arabic is desirable
* Analytical, trouble shooting skills and presentation skills
* Attitude towards working under pressure
