Employment: Full Time

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced External Communications officer with one of our clients, a leading utilities services provider in the state of Qatar. The successful candidate will become part of a highly successful company and will be joining a talented team in the clients marketing division which has grown rapidly over the years. Based in Qatar, the position reports to the Vice-President of commercial affairs and will be working alongside the internal communications team.

To be successful in the role, you will have demonstrated experience in establishing and maintaining relationships with key stake holders. You innovative and fresh ideas will be highly valued as will your ability to work within a successful team. Your skills and experience will be supported by the qualifications in Marketing, Communications, PR or a related field.

Responsibility

Managing external communications of corporate publications, content writing and content design
Plan new opportunities to reach customers through the distribution of e-communications
Contributing to the development and delivery of communication strategy for extending and enhancing communications reach
Working closely with key internal stakeholders and internal communications teams, liaising with trade press and handling issues management

Requirements

Skills

Able to manage, develop and evaluate the production of corporate publications
Exceptional copywriting skills and a passion for effective communications
You should have three to five years' experience of external affairs and stakeholder engagement within a large and complex organisation
Bi-Lingual (English and Arabic)
