The RoleThe RoleThe F&B Senior Procurement Specialist assists in all functions related to all non-merchandise procurement in order to provide all business units with an effective procurement function. He/she ensures companys supplies adhere to the best achievable price and the most favourable terms, while maintaining the best practice standards within the non-merchandise sector of operation. Key Responsibilities Assists in the development of strategies for assigned Procurement area to include spend analysis, market and geographic considerations, strategic importance, etc Understands tracks and forecasts the key cost drivers and market factors for assigned commodities. Conducts research on outsourcing suppliers, product review and comparison. Oversees consumables inventory and monitors users purchasing habits in order to minimize expenses and create a set of monitoring controls. Collates and/or summarizes data and produces routine reports, schedules, agreements, proposals, summaries and letters to support specific Procurement activities. Contributes in maintaining mutually beneficial long-term partnerships with suppliers to foster feedback and continuous improvement. |
RequirementsRequirements* Bachelors degree. * 3-4 years of experience in a similar field. * Fluency in English. * Proficiency in MS Office. * Good understanding of relevant Procurement systems and procedures. |
