Job description / Role
1. Piping Design Engineer
- Piping Engineer in the EPC industry supporting oil, gas and petrochemical processing facilities.
- Responsible for preparing piping specification.
- Responsible for reviewing 3-D model and construction drawings such as piping G/A drawings, isometric drawings, tracing drawings, support drawings etc..
- Responsible for the review of contractual documents, vendor drawings and data.
- Must be able to communicate detailed design issues effectively with suppliers, clients, and other engineering disciplines.
- May also participate in the development of P&ID's.
2. Piping Stress Engineer
- Piping Stress Engineer in the EPC industry supporting oil, gas and petrochemical processing facilities.
- Preparing specifications of piping stress analysis.
- Performing piping stress analysis using CAESAR II Designing piping supports.
- Review engineering documents, vendor drawings and others. Preparing and review data sheets for special piping items such as spring hanger/support, expansion joint, etc.
3. Piping Material Engineer
- Piping Material Engineer in the EPC industry supporting oil, gas and petrochemical processing facilities.
- Responsible for preparing piping material specification, purchasing specification and piping material requisition.
- Responsible for carrying out Technical Bid Evaluation and vendor print check.
- Responsible for reviewing requirements of material in contractual documents and carrying out clarification with client and/or licensor.
- Must be able to understand MSD's, PFD's and P&ID's and familiar with sound engineering practice for piping materials. Must be able to communicate with piping design engineers, clients, related engineering disciplines and vendors
Requirements
1. Piping Design Engineer
- B.S. in Mechanical Engineering
- 10+ years of experience.
- Demonstrated performance as piping engineer for the EPC projects is required.
- Read, write and speak English
- Experience in Overseas Project is required.
- Good Knowledge of applicable design standards covering Piping Design/Engineering and applicable accessories such as B31.1, B31.3, B31.4 and B31.8
- Good knowledge of plant layout, piping layout, piping specification, piping stress analysis, etc.
- Familiar with 3-D modeling tools such as PDS or PDMS
2. Piping Stress Engineer
- B.S. in Mechanical Engineering
- 10+ years of experience (in stress analysis).
- Demonstrated performance as a stress engineer for the EPC projects is required.
- Read, write and speak English
- International experience is required.
- Good Knowledge of applicable design standards covering Piping Design/Engineering and applicable Code such as ASME B31.1, B31.3 and ASME Sec.VIII
3. Piping Material Engineer
- B.S. in Mechanical Engineering
- 10+ years of experience (in material engineering).
- Demonstrated performance as piping material engineer for the EPC projects is required.
- Read, write and speak English
- Experience in Overseas Project is required.
- Good Knowledge of applicable design standards covering Piping Design/Engineering and applicable accessories such as B31.1, B31.3, B31.4 and B31.8.
- Well use of MS Excel Also good Knowledge of international codes & standards covering piping materials such as ASTM, API, ASME, BS and MSS, etc.
