FM Consultant

Job description / Role

Inspire Selection are recruiting on behalf of an international Management Consultancy, working alongside FM service providers within the Healthcare sector in the UAE. They have an urgent requirement for an FM Consultant with an MEP background to manage and advise on major healthcare projects based throughout the Emirates region.

The purpose of this role is to oversee, advise and co-ordinate all aspects of the clients involvement in the development of a sustainable FM solution in Hard Services.

Responsibilities:
• Working alongside the client to understand their service needs and desires and develop a service solution strategy which meets their requirements
• Develop meaningful SLA’s and KPI’s which are fair towards all parties
• Develop a set of comprehensive operations plans and methodologies which ensure service is maintained
• Consolidation of data during the preliminary services up to actual project completion to permit the creation of a Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) System
• Manage a diverse, both culture and technical knowledge, FM team dealing with all aspects of people management including appraisals and performance management
• Contractor management of outsourced services including Specialist hard services, fire systems, lifts, hygiene and waste management
• Oversee the contract budget
• Take overall responsibility for customer satisfaction
• Complete periodic performance reports on time

Requirements

• A minimum of 10 years in an FM environment
• Experience in a consultancy role preferred
• Must have experience within the Healthcare Sector
• Must be degree qualified in an MEP discipline
• Educated to degree level in a relevant building discipline (preferably an MEP discipline)
• A member of an FM related Institute
• Some experience in transition and commissioning would be useful
• Strong comprehension of hard services
• Strong awareness of the difference between leadership and management
