Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

This is a great opportunity to join an Energy business of a large reputable MNC. You will be reporting to the MD.

Main Responsibilities:

Monthly financial management reporting
- P&L monthly actual vs. business plan, vs. prior year and vs. prior forecast and other insightful analysis (eg. gross margin by customers/products)
- Perform quality of earnings analysis/one-timers tracking
- Support preparation of monthly Business Reviews for all sub-regions

Manage P&L forecast process
- Drive the quarterly forecast process with the sub-regions to ensure consistent approach towards forecasting and facilitate understanding of business performance
- Provide monthly P&L Risks & Opportunities analysis vs. forecast to Corporate
- Support preparation of forecast review presentation for senior management

Manage the Business Plan and mid-term Plan processes
- Drive the 5-year mid-term plan and annual business plan processes with multiple stakeholder
- Ensure consistent approach in planning & provide guidance to the broader team
- Closely track and control the entire process from initial target setting phase to plan finalization in BI/BP systems

Provide financial leadership and analysis in support of business improvement initiatives
- Enhance existing reports to reflect current business needs and performance
- Provide leadership on developing balance sheet / cash flow metrics tracking
- Implementation of management reporting/process improvement initiatives

Requirements

- 6 10 years work experience, with at least 3 years focused in forecasting, planning, and financial management reporting in multinational companies/regional roles
- People management experience essential.
- Big 4 or Blue Chip Background
- Four-year college degree in Finance or Accounting, preferable. If undergraduate studies are not in finance, a graduate level education in finance MBA, CPA or equivalent is a must
- Excellent English skills witten and verbal required, other languages a plus
- A high impact individual comfortable working with strong executive management
- A self-motivated and high energy individual that thrives in an environment characterized by growth, change and opportunity. Has the potential to grow beyond the current role
- Excellent communicator
- Competence in US GAAP an advantage
