Job description / Role
A growing IT services firm is seeking an experienced FTTx/GPON Design engineer to take care Fiber Design and implementation projects. The FTTx/GPON Design engineer will be responsible for Design and Implementation of different OSP and FTTx projects which includes site survey, requirement gathering, designing and proposing solutions. Making BoQ and coordinating with vendor and customers.
Requirements
• Planning and designing metro and access fiber network
• Design and implementation of PON (GPON/EPON)
• Optical Distribution Network design for FTTX and Fiber Assignment
• Approve and review the PAT test results
• Approve and review PAC.
• Checking of Red-line drawings.
• Monitor variations and approved changes are incorporating in the construction drawing.
• Providing Technical support for planning of fiber allocation, duct design (PVC)
And Route design.
• Knowledge about different OSN vendor like Huawei is a plus, but knowledge of others such as Ericsson, ALU and Fujitsu is accepted.
