FX Trader - Turkey

Job Description:
Quote and manage Turkish swaps and bonds, price customer transactions and risk manage trading positions in order to maximize revenue at acceptable risk. Work with other teams, locally and globally, to best service clients through pricing, execution, trade ideas and hedging strategies. Ensure adherence to all regulation, compliance and internal risk metrics. Ensure global best practice and consistency around the region. Network within the market to promote the bank in various venues as well as visit clients to generate interest in Turkish markets.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

* Trading & risk manage Turkish FX swaps, CCS and bonds.
* Resolve settlement issues, check limits, etc.
* Interact and communicate regularly with Sales, ALM, Traders & other support functions to resolve issues/grow the business.
* Analyze P&L on daily basis. Keep management informed of P&L, risk, flows, issues.
* Improve knowledge on related financial markets/products.
* Deliver on financial objectives.
* Enhance communication with Sales to offer Clients better products and services.
* Ensure adherence to all external/internal regulations & limits.
* Maintain and enhance the Bank's image.
* Provide clients with best service, pricing and execution.
* Develop junior members of the team, IGs and interns.

Requirements

* Must have experience in client quoting, market making and managing FX Swaps, CCS and bonds in Turkish interbank market.
* In-depth understanding of local and global market regulations applicable to foreign exchange and bonds.
* Understanding of various limits that apply to Rates Trading.
* Accuracy in bookings and trade confirmations.
* Network within the FI community that would allow him/her to generate new business.
* Strong generator of ideas and opportunities for hedging/trading and ability to communicate well with internal and external parties.
* Highly numerate.
* Ability to work under pressure.
