ABOUT THE CLIENT-
An exciting opportunity with an established leading Middle East based Gas Company.
JOB PURPOSE & SCOPE-
1. Plan and supervise the execution of all Work Request related to In-house fabrication activities for routine maintenance and minor modifications.
Policies, Processes, Systems, Procedures, and Controls. Investigate and highlight any significant variances to support effective performance and cost control.
2. Provide input for preparation of the Department budgets and assist in the implementation of the approved Budget and work plans to deliver Section objectives.
3. Prepare job plans ensuring all material and manpower requirements are met by fully utilizing the MAXIMO System and to supervise the execution of the Work Request received through CMMS MAXIMO.
4. Prepare PTW based on the job schedule, job plans, allocate work, initiate near miss reports and conduct toolbox meetings to ensure understanding of the daily work tasks.
Requirements
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED-
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or in relevant field.
5 or more years of relevant experience in supervising a range of fabrication work programs within a large industrial organization, preferably in the Oil and Gas industry
Good knowledge of fabrication processes and principles (welding, cutting, pressing spheres, gas/plasma burning works, fit up work etc.)
Expertise knowledge in Tools required for Fabrication
Working knowledge of ASME Codes
