We are presently recruiting talented individuals to fill our current vacancy for Facades Site Inspector to work on our projects in Dubai, UAE.

Duties and Responsibilities:

The successful applicant will be able to work autonomously on project sites remote from the head office without requiring close day to day supervision in order to undertake site inspection on multiple projects 
* Reporting to the Principle Façade Consultant  the Façade Site Inspector will be responsible for:
* Reviewing and understanding façade contractors shop drawings in order to be able to understand the construction details of the façade to inform the inspection of facades to determine compliance with the shop drawings.
* Reviewing and understanding the façade specification
* Understanding the basic technical principles of various different façade types in order to appreciate and identify any discrepancies between installed details and shop drawing details and identify the implications of the discrepancies
* Preparation of reports comprising images taken on site along with a descriptive text of the deficiency or deviation of the as built condition compared with the detail on the shop drawing and the implication of the defect or deficiency.

Requirements

Qualifications and Experience: 
* BSc Civil Engineering or Similar
* Relevant façade inspection and report preparation experience. Qualified by experience likely either as a facades site inspector in a consulting role or QA/QC experience for a façade contractor
* Minimum 5 years' experience in any of the following:
- Façade site inspection consulting,
- Façade QA/QC for a Façade contractor
* Ability to understand façade specific shop drawings and specifications
* Working knowledge of various façade types and materials used in high-profile projects including glass and aluminium facades, glass steel facades, windows and doors, precast concrete facades, rainscreen systems, GFRC cladding, stone cladding etc
* Good English verbal communication skills in order to communicate with the façade contractor and main contractor representatives on site
* Good English written communication skills for clear report preparation 
* Clean Passport.
* Valid UAE driver's license
