Our client is an US based educational organization who is looking for a Facilities Director for their new exciting University being constructed in Oyala, Equatorial Guinea, West Africa.

The Role
We are seeking a talented facilities management professional for the start up this US accredited University in Equatorial Guinea, West Africa. The candidate will be reporting to the Country Manager of education and will be responsible for determining the facilities requirements for the full range of facilities including dining, security, residences and maintenance services, developing maintenance policies, procedures and standards. You will be coordinating all the contractors related work to ensure all the facilities requirements and health and safety requirements are met at all times. The Facilities Director will be responding immediately to emergencies and will deal with property management and facilities management throughout the University campus.

Requirements

Skills and Experience:
Fluent Spanish and English with related experience in emerging markets/ ideally knowledge of African markets
Bachelor's degree in Business, Construction Management, Facility Management or equivalent experience preferred plus 3 5 years prior experience in Facility Management running multiple facilities, ideally in an education or professional services environment
You will be effective people manager, with commercial focus and excellent problem solving skills with comprehensive knowledge of managing Cleaning, Security, Waste Management and Customer services.
Comprehensive knowledge of facility maintenance procedures

The right candidate will be entitled to a rewarding career in an emerging market and a salary package of US$ 90,000 per annum plus accommodation, food allowance, 3 annual tickets paid to the country of origin.
