Employment: Full Time

To oversee the refurbishment projects at the facilities occupied by the Automotive Group are efficiently carried out in a cost-effective manner by coordinating with the Business Units and the Contractors.

Additional to that you will be responsible for:

* Provide project management including planning, monitoring, controlling and communication services, to support the successful implementation of refurbishing projects related to facilities in the Automotive Group.
* Attendance at project planning and progress meetings and updating the Business of project progress, resolving issues, reverting to Contractor and Business
* Monitor and compare with the planned progress to ensure quality, organizational alignment, budget, and project deliverables are on target.
* To provide support to Operations on matters pertaining to repairs, maintenance and refurbishments, in order to maintain standards of operation.
* Ensure that only approved finishes and materials are used as per the project guidelines and brand corporate identity
* Prepare various tender related documents for concept and detail design, or preliminary, final design and construction stages
* Play a key role in coordinating with the business and the contractor regarding progress against project program and timelines.
* Reporting to the Facilities Manager

Job Context:

* The job involves a high level of responsibility in the Project Management of refurbishments including fit-outs, carpentry, MEP, Fire-fighting, Low Current, etc., ensuring safety practices and timely completion of work by contractors.
* Prepare RFQ's (Request for Quotations) and Tender documents and review the quotations for submission to Management
* The Facilities Engineer will assist the Facilities Manager to determine the Asset Management Strategy working to strict and detailed budgets and delivering 100% customer satisfaction.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with a wide range of individuals in a wide range of situations.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge:

* Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering

Minimum Experience:

* Minimum 7 to 9 years work experience
* UAE/GCC experience essential - minimum of 5 years

Job-Specific Skills:

* Experience in Autocad
* Time management
* Work to deadlines in high pressure situations
* Technically competent with the ability to understand customers' needs and requirements
* Work on own initiative and under pressure
* Good communication skills
* Possess UAE driving license
* Spoken Arabic an advantage but not essential
