Facilities Management Supervisor

Job description / Role

Job Summary

Responsible for planning, directing, and overseeing building operations and services. The successful candidate will act as the liaison with Contractors, Project Managers, sub-contractor & relevant local authorities.

Main Responsibilities

*Analyzes utility bills and energy output, allocates office space to departments, purchases equipment, and maintains appearance of building.
*Coordinates and facilitates all repairs, maintenance and leasehold improvement activities for the building to insure a safe, clean and productive work environment.
*Contract or hire a work force to facilitate minor structural repairs and maintenance landscaping
*Develop monitoring systems for maintenance expenses by function and equipment. Maintain parts inventory, purchasing and inventory control.
*Foster a high level of internal customer service within the buildings/properties.
*Develop and foster strong vendor and contractor partnerships to insure the best quality, cost and customer service for the properties.
*Perform and coordinate the usage of facilities by BH personnel/groups and organizations within the community; set-ups, teardowns, and clean-up, staff scheduling, and the assignment of overtime.
*Maintain a building keying system and master keying record of all keys issued to and retrieved from employees.

Requirements

What are we looking for in the ideal candidate?
*The successful candidate must have vast exposure within Facilities Management. A minimum of 4+ Years is required.
*Bachelor's degree in a related field (Equivalent: Completing high school or Associate degree or certification in related field.)
*Candidate must have local exposure within the United Arab Emirates with an extensive network and contacts within the FM & MEP field.
*Must possess excellent communication skills within English. Second language is an added advantage. Both verbal & written.
*Excels at operating in a fast paced, close-knit environment.
*Knowledge of methods, practices, equipment, and supplies used in facility maintenance, building, and safety regulations together with principles of project management and supervision.
