Facilities Manager - Mall - Mall Management - CFC - AFGRE - Cairo, Egypt

Spanning 3 million square metres Cairo Festival City is a visionary mixed use urban community strategically located just 15 minutes from Cairo International Airport, along the Cairo Ring Road. Cairo Festival City features Egypt's first indoor-outdoor retail and entertainment resort combined with luxury residential communities, prime office spaces, internationally renowned hotels, schools and an automotive park all set within a lush landscaped environment.

We are seeking to hire a Facilities Manager in Cairo Festival City Mall, as an FM you will be responsible responsible for  Design & Development, setting up and maintenance of the CFC Retail Facilities by participating in the subsequent day to day operations, with the objective of ensuring a smooth, cost effective and high quality operations of the CFC facilities as well as protecting the assets of the landlord/ investor, your job responsibilities will be including & not limited to the following:

* Facilities Management Budget: Responsible for developing the budget for the Facilities Management operation.

* Takeover of property: Responsible for taking over of property from development.

* Facilities Management Plan: Based on Bill of Quantity received from the Development team at the time of property handover, plan the PPM schedule, the call centre operations and the BMS operation, and the related process flow charts, taking into account the property usage, tenancy agreement with tenants, volume and diversity of equipment's, manufacturer's recommendation regarding the maintenance schedule, and the economies of scale that would best utilize the available material and physical resources.

* Facilities Operation: Overall responsibility for the effective operations of Retail Facilities Management plan, including implementation of the PPM, setting up of the BMS operations to respond to building equipment's alarms,  timely response to any alarms by the concerned technical team, response within established standards to any tenant complaint relating to fault rectification; and monitor and ensure performance levels through the computerized maintenance management software and by checking against established SLAs and KPIs.

* Energy Management: Design and implement an energy management programme for ensuring the optimal and cost effective usage of energy (water-potable, in water features and irrigation and electricity consumption); decide on parameters to track energy consumption and initiate corrective actions; minimize wasteful usage and minimize consumption cost which will have direct impact on the profit and loss of property operations.

* Quality Management: Responsible for establishing SLAs and KPIs of the in-house team as well as the outsourced contracts and ensuring adherence to the same. Also responsible for ensuring the Fire and Safety Standards are met as per DEWA and DM as well as the international standards by monitoring adherence to set standards.

* Internal Coordination: Coordinate with mall management with respect to day to day operational issues to ensure maintenance of facilities in keeping with the service standards envisaged; as well as coordinate with the Retail Marketing team vis a vis any MEP requirements to support marketing activities, with the objective of planning and providing the necessary resources to meet such business requirements.

* Document control: Responsible for the receipt, up-keep and operational modification needs of Retail Facilities operation and maintenance manuals, Documents and as built drawings.

Requirements

As a Mall Facilities Manager; you have to demonstrate the following Qualifications, Experience & Skills:

Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge:
Bachelor Degree in any relevant discipline, B.Sc in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering is a plus.

Minimum Experience:
Minimum of 8 years of experience, with not less than 2 years in a managerial position in a multi outlet retail set up or hospitality industry, Thorough understanding of international standards on building services and facilities management Conversant with preventive/ breakdown maintenance procedures and schedule, with knowledge of BMS and VLV systems.
