The Role


A leading FM contractor is seeking a Facilities Manager to manage several Palaces in Abu Dhabi. Both Hard and Soft FM.

The Facilities Manager must have experience in the following areas;
Contractor Management (direct responsibility for cleaning, catering, M&E, security, etc)
Project Management (refurbishments, small project works (up to 20k) office moves & relocations, etc)
Line Management experience (Direct Reports include 2 receptionists, Facilities Manager Assistant / Administration role, Site Electrician)
Ability to manage people in the correct manner
PPM scheduling (Planned Preventative Maintenance)
Building Inspections (weekly walkrounds/general maintenance)
H&S Knowledge (IOSH/NEBOSH Qualification) for example, review & prepare Risk Assessments & Method Statements, raise hot work permits & general permits
Environmental knowledge (energy savings)
KPI/SLA experience for contractor performance
Fire Awareness - You will be responsible for Fire Prevention and act as Fire Marshall

The Facilities Manager will ideally have 5 years experience of working in a similar role, hold a degree or Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, General Certificate in Health & Safety, PC Literate including Word, Excel, Good Numeracy Skills, able to plan and organise workload resources, excellent communication skills, UAE Driving license.
