Facilities Manager

Job description / Role

My client is a global diversified technology and industrial leader serving customers in more than 150 countries. They are currently seeking a Facilities Manager for a position in Qatar.

Based in their Qatar operation the successful candidate will take ownership for the visual standards of all external and internal and related communal areas wherever appropriate.

Responsibilities;
*To manage FM Services and hub and satellite locations.
*Responsible for FM standards and delivery through KPI's/SLA's
*Coordinate for a client performance review against ouput on a monthly basis.
*Provide professional advice to the client on FM matters associated with the site/s.
*Accountable for the financial performance of the site/s service delivery.
*Responsible for the adherence to business controls and processes and procedures.
*Responsible for initiating value add initiatives at one or more sites.
*Ensure essential site systems and equipment is maintained.
*Ensure a cost effective maintenance programme for all buildings, plant, systems and equipment is in place.
*Ensure projects are managed within the portfolio and delivered on time and within budget.

Requirements

Requirements;
*Experience of 1-3 years in a facilities management/supervisory role or related service environment.
*Demonstrate experience in dealing with customer service and exhibit key skills within this area.
*Sound problem solving ability.
*Sound understanding of HSE requirements i.e. IOSH
*Strong communication skills (oral and written).
*Excellent influencing skills.
*Experience in contract management and measurement.
*PC literate i.e. Micorsoft systems.
*Be self motivated.
*Strong commercial understanding - P&L/Budget responsibility up to $1m
*Possess a FM Qualification or equivalent - (NVQ Level 2-3)
*Manage up to 50 staff
