Job description / Role
A prestigious Master Development Company are looking for a Facilities Manager for their projects in the UAE.
They are one of the biggest property developers, and undertake projects for residential villas, retail stores, schools, health spas, as well as other leisure/hospitality.
As the Facility Manager for the entire real estate portfolio, candidate has to managed a small in-house team of facility, managing ideas on how to maximising FM opportunities and to increase revenue and reduce cost. Reviewing all FM projects, budgets, and expenses.
In charge of re tender where add value is identified and liaising with contracts manager in procurement and contract management documents.
Coordinate with contractors on small projects, liaising with tenants of commercial and retail properties on fit outs and FM issues. Ensuring health and safety are implemented. Recruiting and training staff to develop staff development programs such as skills enhancement trainings and session.
Management:
- Building and ground landscaping maintenance upkeep and improvement
- Cleaning and all janitorial services, including facade cleaning
- PPMs and reactive maintenance
- Health and Safety, work permits and risk assessments
- Security and key control, ERT & ERP
- Utilities and communications infrastructure
- Sinking Fund, Forward Funding and whole life cycle costing
Requirements
- A qualified Facility Management expert with a technical/ Mechanical engineering degree
- At least 5 years experience of managing a similar function
- Managerial experience with People Management skills ( both in-house and outsourced)
- Knowledge of the FM industry
- Possess an extensive contact network in UAE and the Region
- Good communication skills in English (Arabic would be an advantage)
- A high-level of IT skills including FM technology
- A detail-orientated technical person, with a strong commercial business approach
