Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Job Purpose:
To establish a Facility Management in a leading real estate development company to protect its market reputation and meet its business objectives through the management and maintenance of its Real Estate assets comprising commercial, residential and commercial assets.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the effective achievement of the Facility Management objectives through the leadership of the Facility Management department
- Prepare and recommend the departmental budget and monitor financial performance versus the budget so that the business is aware of anticipated costs/revenues and areas of unsatisfactory performance are identified, rectified promptly and potential performance improvement opportunities are capitalised upon
- Prepare the annual Preventive maintenance plans for the account to accomplish the delivery of the operational plan for Engineering building services within Office, retail and residential sectors
- Develop capital equipment plans for replacement, modification or acquisition of new equipment, in order to ensure that all equipment in operation meets the company quality standards
- Implement the annual operating plan within each account and profit centre to ensure the revenue and profitability objectives are achieved or exceeded in line with the business strategy
- Direct the effective management of all facilities of ensuring the efficient planning and allocation of all roles
- Plan, organise and manage the facilities maintenance for all assets in order to ensure smooth and uninterrupted functioning of all facility services, meeting all SLAs
- Manage the clearing, security, and inspection activities to provide better services in the facilities at all time
- Check the facility management design of assets, engineering equipment, its maintainability, ascertain the quality of outputs/operations and the scope of work and coordinate with contractors in order to provide facility management services at optimum efficiency and costs
- Recommend improvements to departmental policy and direct the implementation of procedures and controls covering all areas of the department so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost-effective service.
- Ensure all relevant safety, quality and environmental policies, procedures and controls are adhered to so that employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high quality products/service and a responsible environmental attitude can be guaranteed
- Supervise the preparation of timely and accurate departmental MIS statements and reports pertaining to Property Management to meet the organisations and departmental requirements, policies and standards

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent
- 8 years of facilities management/ engineering experience with a reputed organization
- Real estate experience preferred
- Good maintenance and facilities management skills
- Analytical and problem solving skills
- Proficiency in English
- Good team management and people skills
