The RoleThe RoleJOB SUMMARY This position is responsible for monitoring and supporting the facilities systems within CCAD, including liaising between CCAD and third-party providers (TPP) and outsourced staff. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES •Performs urgent troubleshooting, corrective actions and routine support on multiple utilities systems •Installs, troubleshoots and maintains alarm/security systems •Tests electrical fixtures appropriately before work is performed •Assists with managing and maintaining preventative maintenance programs to ensure uninterrupted operations of the facility monitoring systems •Coordinates activities with TPP, Facilities Directors, Managers and Supervisors •Responsible for maintaining compliance with all building safety codes •Responsible for maintaining industry awareness on new developments within facilities systems •Assists in training of facility staff in Building Management System and Monitoring Systems |
RequirementsRequirementsEXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS •Minimum of five (5) years experience in system interface and troubleshooting general MEP, carpentry, painting and mechanical repair required •Ability to interpret written instructions, technical schematics and drawings •Knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems, alarm systems and devices, hospital codes and regulations •Strong analytical skills •Ability to speak and write in English is required •Ability to speak and write in both English and Arabic is preferred •Health care industry experience is preferred Education Technical Degree, Higher Diploma or Associates Degree required |
