Factory Engineering Manager

Job description / Role

Our client is one of the leading FMCG manufacturing company in the region and they are currently seeking a Factory Engineering Manager to be based in Saudi Arabia.

Core Purpose of the Job:
- To maintain company asset by implementing a total preventative maintenance system that allows complete operational availability to all departments as and when the business require within agreed standards, budget and provisions ensuring adequate skilled work force, materials and management.
- To meet management performance targets by ensuring machine/electrical equipment availability at all times within standards and costs ensuring adequate provision of skills labour and guidance across all departments as and when the business requires

Areas of responsibility
- Ensure plan is in place for the preventive maintenance of machines and equipment in all Departments to meet the demands of the business.
- Provision of engineering and technical expertise in assisting the project team for the design and installation of production lines.
- Provide compliance to financial policies and procedures in order for the effective control of engineering expenditures.
- Compliance to Quality Standards by sustaining continuous improvement targets.
- Ensure full compliance of safe system of work and practices by continued implementation of safety awareness, initiatives and risk management.
- Ensure to identify and put plan in place for the continued staff development, ensuring technical skills are available.
- Business risks are identified and assessed within the maintenance aspect of operations.
- H&S review and audit plan are timely met, corrective action and control measures are in place.

Requirements

- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
- 10 years experience in Food/Beverage/Dairy/Packaging/ Manufacturing industry
- Experience of working with automated equipment
- Extensive management skills
