Factory Manager - Biscuits and Cakes

Job description / Role

Owing to continued growth, my client a Regional FMCG Food manufacturer is looking to recruit a Factory Manager - Biscuits and Cakes for their site in Riyadh, KSA.

The client is a large Saudi food production company focused on biscuits, wafers, confectionary, snacks, drinks and desserts. Based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia they also produce private label products for a number of prestigious food companies in the region.

The role of Factory Manager - Biscuits and Cakes will have the following responsibilities:
* Manage the overall factories operations smoothly and efficiently within the agreed budget
* Area of responsibility is the production and engineering
* Leads the biscuit and cracker factories to achieve the operational excellence standards.

Key Duties:
* Assist Deputy GMM in Financial Budget
* Reduce the cost and increase quality standards and productivity
* Update the units according to the industry best practice and standardize the process and polices
* Achieve OEE targets
* Define metrics and targets KPI for individuals and processes
* Focus on customer satisfaction
* Improve communities and environment
* Develop potentials and opportunities (Turning visions into actions)
* Improve management and organizational effectiveness
* Set group to lead
* Managing talents
* Propose Annual Operation Plan to D.GMM and Implement after the approval
* Strategic plan on schedule
* Do the Line Manning analysis and improve the MPC.
* Utilize all resources efficiently , reduce change over time and operation down time
* Achieve sales demand plan Vs. actual production
* Ensure available critical people resources
* Motivate people to challenge their effectiveness and strive for excellence
* Create training programs and tools.

Job Offer
TAX FREE package of SAR30,000 - SAR35,000 monthly, plus expat benefits.

Requirements

For the role of Factory Manager - Biscuits and Cakes my client is looking for a candidate with the following:
* Engineering degree
* Excellent Communication-English
* Minimum 10 years last 5 years in managerial level in biscuit and snack factory
* Knowledge of TPM , Lean Management and DMAIC
* Knowledge of machines , plant layout ,production cycle and materials functionality
* Strong background of the field regulations and requirement
* Experience in 5S ,food safety programs and quality systems
* Experience in Project management
Strategic Thinker and ability of Setting SMAART factories goals and objectives
* Experience in ERM Audit Program
