Fashion Designer - Sportswear

Job description / Role

The role of Fashion Designer-Sportswear requires a talented designer with a proven track record in designing outdoor, sports and performance wear across men's and ladies ranges.

The role will involve carrying out extensive research, creating ranges and working with suppliers, technologists and the product development team to ensure all designs and samples meet exacting standards and hit current and future trends.

Some experience of designing graphics and prints for these ranges would be beneficial but is not essential.

This role is within a fast paced environment where managing and planning your own workload is key.

The role will also require overseas travel to the Far East and Europe as necessary.

Requirements

You will have previous design experience in an outdoor/skiwear background
* Technical garment knowledge
* The ability and flair to design men's and women's & children's ranges, while following and identifying future trends.
* It would be advantageous, to have graphic/print experience, although this is not essential.
* Ideally with experience from a leading global sports brand.
