We are currently looking to recruit Field Engineers - Pipelines/Flowlines. The positions will be working on 28/28 rotation on site in Iraq. The successful candidate will provide dedicated technical support to the resident client team.

Responsibilities
Our company is the Engineering & Procurement services contractor for the Majnoon project in Iraq and there is a need for a link between the Majnoon Site Construction & Commissioning Team and our Home Engineering Teams to support timely completion. The goal is to create this link through a design engineering team at site; the Field Design Engineering Team. The main activities for this team will consist of the following: Providing engineering support for all construction & commissioning activities at site which are related to our design. Providing engineering support from site to our Home Engineering Teams.

The Field Design Engineers will be expected to sign off the majority of TQ’s which they have provided the answer to and act as the conduit for those TQ’s that require HO or vendor action.

Obey client HSSE policy & rules coordinate with client Field Design Engineering team lead. Daily coordination & work load management of Field Design Engineering.

TeamReview all submitted Technical Queries and Technical Deviation Requests and assign relevant discipline engineer.

Support client with prioritizing and scheduling TQ’s/DR’s/IR’sDrive close out of construction & commissioning TQ’s/TDR’s/IR’s which have been issued to Field Design Engineering team.

Support close out of TQ’s at site interface with home offices.

Prepare and deliver required daily/weekly/monthly reporting

Obey client HSSE policy & rulesResolve assigned TQ’s where possible and sign-off.

Send remaining TQ’s to home office and drive close out.Send assigned TDR’s to home office and drive close-out Follow up on assigned IR’s and drive close-outValidate TQ/TDR approved changes have been incorporated in the field construction and included in red line drawings document submissions.

Education and Skills

Technical leadership in your given field of engineering. Strong design engineering and site experience dealing with TQ's TDR's and IR's and experience in an upstream business and be adept at working in a multi-disciplined, multi-cultural team. Familiar with the typical software packages that are used for design. Thorough awareness of international codes and standards. Proficient in the use of Excel and Word.Strong commitment to safety. Willing to implement new initiatives, open to new ideas, can move innovative ideas to successful outcomes. Excellent negotiating skills. Ability to establish long term relationships based on the strategy of trusted advisor role. Proven track record of demonstrating success at delivering against asset integrity plans, small/medium projects and experience of working in SIMOPS conditions successfully influencing partners to improve performance and change work practices. Ability to analyse problems, assess risk profile, determine action, and develop solutions, communicating intentions and progress to all levels. Previous experience of working in Iraq would be an advantage
