Field Manager - Food Quality - Kuwait

The Role:
You will plan, coordinate and direct the Division's quality control program designed to ensure consistency with established standards. You will achieve this by monitoring food flows and quality performance trends, auditing stores and suppliers, compiling records and interpreting experimental or analytical results. The job will be field based with the majority of the time being spent visiting stores and suppliers.

You will:
* Formulate and maintain quality control objectives complementary to corporate policies and goals
* Create and implement inspection criteria and procedures
* Create and implement product traceability inspection criteria and procedures
* Create and implement product FIFO (first in first out)/UBD (use by date) movements, inspection criteria and procedures
* Apply total quality management tools and approaches to analytical and reporting processes within each department
* Follow up and support brand teams in correcting opportunities highlighted by the external food safety audits.

Requirements

* Excellent self-management skills
* Minimum 3 years' work experience in the food manufacturing industry
* An understanding of food safety programs, HACCP principles, inspection and audit programs
* An understanding of food safety and quality management systems like GFSI or ISO22001
* Excellent interpersonal, communication and analytical skills
* Degree in Food Science or related discipline
* Middle East experience is an advantage
* Restaurant experience is an advantage.
