Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Implements Food Safety & Hygiene and Quality Systems throughout  stores, support centres and vendors within own territory. Responsible for reporting and resolving all quality issues relating to stores, vendors and associated logistical network and distributors in allocated territory. Responsible for resolving food safety and customer complaints. Ensures compliance to Quality Management System through monitoring the quality and process control procedures and systems including HACCP (Hazard Analytical Critical Control Point).

* Implementation of quality management systems including HACCP and its pre-requisite programs. Assist QA manager in developing and improving such systems and programs.
* Feedbacks to the manager and regional operations teams regarding food safety, hygienic store design, vendor performance design and Good Manufacturing Practices to meet  standards and local health regulations.
* Train and educate store partners in quality matters and train vendors in adhering to standards.
* Reports quality performance trends to line manager, regional operations team and management. Reports and resolves regional critical food safety incidents/issues at both the store and vendor levels.
* Ensures regional stores and vendors are adhering to quality standards, policies and procedures, and are reporting quality issues promptly. Takes necessary steps with regional management to resolve gaps in adherence to such standards and policies.
* Ensure all products are received, stored and distributed in compliance with local market regulations and HACCP system.
* Conduct vendor and internal store audits ensuring strict compliance with departments and operating principles, procedures and standards.
* Helps develop, implement and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS), including HACCP and its document to compliance and reflect additions or amendments.

Requirements

* M.S. Degree in Food Science, Food Microbiology, or Biology with 3 years of related managerial industrial food QA experience.
* Or B.S. degree in Food Science or related major with 7 years of relevant managerial QA food experience.
* Knowledgeable and experienced in dealing with local health and food laws and authorities. Experienced in auditing of food plants/establishments.
* HACCP and ISO knowledge as well as practical knowledge is a must.
