The RoleThe RoleBasic Function: Reports on all operations activities including production facilities and gas plants in all Clients fields and terminal with concentration on process optimization and economics to achieve highest safety standards and best efficiency at reasonable cost. Function & Responsibilities: Undertakes studies and analyses related to production and LPG Plant operations. Prepares and/or reviews scopes of work for certain activities. Develops material & equipment specs. for enhancing or replacing existing plants or procuring new items. Prepares reports and keeps records on operations activities. Orders, etc. Provides technical advice and supervision for the fields and terminal as necessary. Prepares opex and capex budgets and cost analyses.. Maintains work contacts with other departments for obtaining information and/ or coordination of work. Maintains cost records & performs cost analysis: helps in bids evaluation tasks. Develops ideas to enhance operations recoveries and efficiencies. Assists in monitoring corrosion-related activity and remedial work therof. Helps to keep track of all modifications & changes done in the field works, plants & equipment & ensures updating of data. Undertakes technical and commercial evaluations as required. |
RequirementsRequirementsEducation and Experience Prerequisites: B. S. Degree in Mechanical / Chemical Engineering coupled with a minimum of 15 years diversified experience in Oil Industry Engineering work including 5 years of field experience in different phases of operations such as production and LPG plant activities. |
