Employment: Full Time

Field Sales Executive Sea Freight - Asia Pacific

The purpose of the role is to develop, using all of the tools available to you, business from existing and new customers in order to reach and exceed predefined targets set by Management.

- Development of the Far East to U.A.E. Trade in line with the Tons and GP targets set.
- Further Development and retention of existing customer base and focus on new customer development.
- Build relationship with Asia Route development manager to support the prepaid traffic to Dubai.
- Ensure to adhere to all Kuehne + Nagel Compliance, legal, human resources, environmental, ISO, Security and health and safety procedures and standards.
- Meet and exceed targets as predefined in Incentive Scheme by the Management
- Contribute to K+N UAE achieving annual Budget
- Provide continuous feedback on market rates and conditions to Product.
- Maintain VLog inputs for all client activities and opportunities
- Ensure Client IDs are entered into VLOG (ACON/etc.) to ensure all data capture correctly in SPMS.
- Conduct sales projects as required
- Business delivery against agreed strategy and business plan
- Overall growth and profit development
- Raising Kuehne + Nagels profile as the leading logistics provider

Requirements

- Relevant Degree/Diploma
- Local Market Experience
- Proven Performer in Logistics Sales
- 5 Years in Logistics Industry Including Preferably for Multinational
- Air/Sea Operational Experience
- Supply Chain Management within Sea Freight
- Extensive proven sales record
- Proven In-depth knowledge of industry and good awareness of competitors business strategy
- Robust multi modal and supply chain knowledge from door-to-door in regards to Sea Freight
- Very good knowledge of QSHE processes, requirements and formats
- Sales Automation Skills
- Able to Work in Team Environment
- Air and Ocean Operational Knowledge
- Good Written and Verbal Communication Skills
- Strong Customer Focus
- Presentation Skills
- Leadership & Focus: focused, pro-active and self-motivated to support the Kuehne + Nagel organization
- Knowledge: industry expert who has detailed knowledge of the supply chain in Sea Freight
- Analysis and Process: able to analyze data and reports and design, enhance and steer processes
- Customer Orientation: develops collaborative and trusting relationships internally or together with sales staff in customer organization
- Teamwork: able to build team spirit
