Employment: Full Time

Field Sales Executive Sea Freight - Asia Pacific

The purpose of the role is to develop, using all of the tools available to you, business from existing and new customers in order to reach and exceed predefined targets set by Management.

- Development of the Far East to U.A.E. Trade in line with the TEU and GP targets set.
- Further Development and retention of existing customer base and focus on new customer development.
- Build relationship with Asia Route development manager to support the prepaid traffic to Dubai.
- Ensure to adhere to all Kuehne + Nagel Compliance, legal, human resources, environmental, ISO, Security and health and safety procedures and standards.
- Meet and exceed targets as predefined in Incentive Scheme by ZV.
- Contribute to K+N UAE achieving annual Budget.
- Provide continuous feedback on market rates and conditions to Product.
- Maintain VLog inputs for all client activities and opportunities.
- Ensure Client IDs are entered into VLOG (ACON/etc.) to ensure all data capture correctly in SPMS.
- Conduct sales projects as required Dxb ZV/Product.

The Objectives which are laid out in the above documentation are not exhaustive and job holder will be required to act wholeheartedly in the interests of the company and to work closely between existing Customers and Product to ensure their current support is maintained.

Requirements

- Relevant University Degree/Diploma
- Solid local (UAE) market experience
- Extensive Asia Pacific market experience
- Proven track record in Logistics Sales within specified market sectors
- Min. of 5 years within Logistics industry preferably with multinational companies
- Air/Sea operational experience
- Ability to operate operational/sales/reporting/database system
- Sales Automation Skills
- Ability to work in Team Environment
- Air and Ocean Operational Knowledge
- Excellent Written and Verbal Communication Skills
- Strong Customer Focus
- Excellent Presentation Skills

KPIs:
- 25 Sales Calls per month
- 10 Sales Leads per month
- Other KPIs as per KN UAE Incentive scheme
- 24 New Customer Profiles in KN LOGIN
- 5 KN Insurance Sales Leads under Product (Fix & Flex)
- 100% resolution timely of customer complaints regarding service and pricing.

KPIs listed above are not limited to and additional KPIs will be discussed and assigned in line with Managements requirements.
