Job description / Role
My client a world leading provider of supply chain solutions are looking to increase there sales team with the recruitment of a number of Field Sales Executives.
Responsibilities to include:
To achieve given sales revenue and/or profit targets within an assigned territory.
To undertake planned regular daily client visits.
To identify, target and secure new clients and thus to bring new profitable business on a consistent basis.
Manage existing clients and attend to their rate requests, queries, complaints, etc.
To prepare and submit given reports with set periodicity and as per the formats provided.
To keep oneself and the management updated on the relevant market and competition information.
To build business relations with the carriers to procure better rates and desired service.
Successful candidates will undertake a 3 month specific training program to give them the tools to work in a sales environment.

Requirements
Nature and length of previous experience: Freight forwarding background
Specialist knowledge:
Ideal candidate will have worked within a freight forwarding environment and looking to develop their career into the sales side of the business.
Soft Skills and Personality traits: Desire to succeed in a challenging sales environment
Language Fluency: English
