Employment: Full Time

We currently have an exciting opportunity for suitably qualified Field Service Engineers at a base, senior and principal level across the mechanical or instrumentation and controls discipline with previous experience within the Rotating equipment / Oil and Gas / Power Generation industry.

This role will be responsible for carrying out routine on-site repair and service operations (Planned and ad-hoc) on a range of products and service agreements. Ensure specific/defined maintenance work scopes are professionally administered on a day to day basis whilst maintaining all relevant technical documentation and appropriate levels of customer satisfaction.

Key responsibiltiies will include:

• Respond to customer call outs on an ad-hoc or planned basis to conduct installation, commissioning, maintenance, repairs and modifications activities and carry out defect investigations, resolve operational problems and support the Technical Manager to develop and improve relevant techniques.
• Provide call out service outside of working hours.
• Ensure that the assignment is completed in a safe, timely and efficient manner, to the relevant engineering specifications and highest quality work standards, to the customers’ satisfaction following company detailed procedures.
• Lead the maintenance team when undertaking scheduled servicing and managing unscheduled maintenance as appropriate.
• Complete site tasks, reporting and monitoring all issues and where necessary liaising with other engineering functions, including third party contractors, within the assignment areas.
• Support third party contractors within different projects to ensure that the project schedule is not impacted by related engineering issues.
• Report progress and issues to relevant internal managers as required
• Visit sites as necessary to ensure continuing effective support to the customer.
• Support long term service agreements, engineered solutions and installation and commissioning activities to ensure completion of the projects in a timely manner.
• Prepare detailed field service reports on completion of work in scope

Requirements

•Previous experience in a technical/services position within the Rotating equipment / Oil and Gas / Power Generation industry
•Proven technical and analytical capability
•Demonstrated experience in a customer facing role
•Knowledge of Rolls- Royce products is preferred
•Recognised HS&E certification
