Field Service Engineer

Job description / Role

• Responsible for independently performing contamination and filtration technology assessment surveys on execution of customer orders.
• Assessment surveys are done at customers’ sites and include identification of bottlenecks/production issues, contamination sampling and analysis campaigns, performance of semi-industrial technology validation tests, reporting of field test results and appropriate technology and Company’s solutions recommendations.
• Filtration and separation technologies listed here include particulate filtration, liquid-liquid coalescence and liquid-gas coalescence and customers are mainly in Energy sector (Oil and Gas, Refinery, Polymers, Chemicals)
• Will be assigned multiple projects. Will act as “Lead” for Service assignments providing technical advice and solutions to customers and other Company’s Staff as required. May be required to assist commissioning engineers to start up new filters/systems.
• Position includes 65% of work at customers site / 35% at office, with some periodical missions in other Gulf’s countries.
• Oil and Gas processes / Refinery processes / Chemical processes
• Chemical or Process Engineering Bachelor degree

Requirements

• Responsible for the timely and accurate completion of Service Reports, Time Tracking, Site Visit Reports, Expense Reports and other business related documents.
• Responsible for performing all services in compliance with applicable Company’s, site and industrial safety practices.
• Responsible for training Customers’, Company’s or Company’s Distributor engineers’ in the correct use and maintenance procedures for Company’s Industrial service products, including the generation and use of Service Manuals.
• Other reasonable duties as required by changes to Company’s procedures or industrial markets.
• To prepare all below field activities documents such as work protocols, MR’s and JSA’s / HAZOP’s.
• To perform contamination sampling and analysis campaigns at customers sites, including initial visit, technical definition of the service scope and means, technical review of the commercial proposition, attendance at the kick-off meeting, supervision or execution of the equipment mobilization, field activities and demobilization and production of the daily and final campaign reports.
• To perform field trials or clean-ups at customers sites including initial visit, technical definition of the service scope and means, technical review of the commercial proposition, attendance at the kick-off meeting, supervision or execution of the equipment mobilization, field activities and demobilization and production of the daily and final campaign reports.
• To generate and update customer contamination dashboards, including dashboard parameters definition and validation, establishment of relevant thresholds, definition of the measurement technologies, instruments and sampling points, collection and analysis of measured data and generation of the conclusions and recommendations. Attendance to customer progress and final review meetings.
• To evaluate best technology / Company’s product fit and sizing for rentals, recommend analysis types and frequency, follow-up the job progress and review / finalize the final job report.
• To advise and supervise the contamination analysis, define the cleaning schedule
• To review the final product quality control data and generate the customer report
• To perform technical and performance Cleaning Center audits
• To follow relevant legal requirements and the Company Health & Safety Policy.
• To keep your work area tidy and free from hazards.
• To make a positive contribution to housekeeping.
• Report and address any safety defects.
• Both English and Arabic speaker.
