Employment: Full Time

This requisition is for completing work on a Boeing contract in Kuwait. Management, day-to-day supervision at the workplace and administration of compensation and benefits will be arranged by Boeing Kuwait, Inc., while the contract of employment will be with Worldwide Trust Group (WWTG).

This position is part of the on-site C-17 Field Services Engineering and Technical Support (FETS) team for the Kuwait Air Force(KAF) customer at Al-Mubarak Air Base, Kuwait.

- Participate in resolving complex operational problems that require a high level of ingenuity, innovation, and coordination with the KAF customer;
- Provide KAF customer troubleshooting & repair guidance;
- Provide assistance with the interpretation of technical documents to ensure the intent and purpose of the documentation is understood and followed;
- Provide specialized ad-hoc on-the-job training by explaining theory of operations and demonstrating basic operating, maintenance, servicing procedures, and troubleshooting techniques;
- Investigate and pursue courses of action necessary to safely support KAF missions including assistance with spares supply and support equipment;
- And document field site activities by preparing and transmitting publication change requests, continuous process improvement data, and reports to provide status of product/customer issues and developments.
- Prior experience in troubleshooting complex integrated systems, within an operational environment is essential.
- A strong background in the operation, maintenance and repair of one or more of the following systems is required: airframe structure, hydro-mechanical, propulsion, and mission systems, electrical, avionics, and communication systems. C-17 experience is preferred.

This position requires the ability to work independently under time constraints and stress, in a demanding, on-call, around the clock operational environment. Travel to other operating locations to assist with operation, maintenance, and recovery of aircraft may be required. Avionics experience is preferred.

Requirements

- Bachelor's and typically 6 or more years related work experience, a Master's degree and typically 4 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Or
- Bachelor's degree and typically 10 or more years' related work experience, a Master's degree and typically 8 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Employment is subject to the candidate s ability to satisfy all Kuwait labor and immigration formalities. This job may be level 3 or level 4 and will determined by the level of experience and qualifications of the selected candidate, in relation to the scope and responsibility of the position.
