Field Test Engineer - Applications

Job description / Role

The successful applicant is responsible for quality assurance testing, reviewing and managing all local contents of Samsung Apps store.

Key Objectives:
Verifying local contents of Samsung Apps store and conducting field test on applications. In addition, supporting the local testing members in the Middle East.

Position Responsibilities:
- Managing and handling the stability of Galaxy App Store
- Verifying and testing the update notification client
- Performing Black Box testing for local and global applications and following up to ensure the expected quality
- Performing contents consistency test for new models
- Supporting HQ with all requests to MEA region

Requirements

- Must be native Arabic speaker
- Bachelors degree(preferably majored in Electronics and Communications engineering)
- Technology skills around mobile handsets
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Possess a basic understanding of Android OS and other mobile platforms
- High self motivation and ability to work alone, managing own work and setting sensible priorities according to perceived requirements
- Good at planning and able to meet the testing schedules
- Good PC skills and the confident use of applications such as MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)
- Approachable, flexible, team orientated and self assertive where required
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management
- Must be a team player and willing to adapt to change
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical reports, data and studies.
- Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, distributors, or members of the business community.
- Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups and/or clients.
