The RoleThe RoleBased in: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia Reporting to: Chief Financial Officer Managing: Financial Analyst, Senior Accountant Job Summary: Responsible for Managing the Finance & Accounting Function’s all related policies and processes, including all the accounting operations, periodical and year-end closing, and all financial reporting requirements. Primary Accountabilities and Responsibilities: Strategic • Develops Finance & Accounting Function’s strategies, business plans and budgets in accordance with the companies overall strategic intent and direction. • Reviews Finance & Accounting Function’s policies and processes inline with all regulation requirements to control all related activities within the company Capital. Operational • Manages all the accounting operations to ensure implementation of sound accounting systems meeting regulatory requirements. • Organize and direct all general accounting activities and functions. • Provides management with necessary financial information and analysis and other relevant data as appropriate. • Leads and controls the budget planning process. Reviews the operational and financial results against objectives and budgets. • Assures compliance with local regulatory requirements (zakat issues, depreciation rates and filing issues). Manages all foreign exchange risks inline with CMA and SAMA regulations. • Controls the year-end closing process and activities. Co-ordinates all publication activities of the companies Capital annual reports. • Acts as the point of contact for Authorities and external auditors, for reporting and questions regarding finance and accounting. • Manages all activities relating to the accounting function including; approval of accounting entries, chart of accounts validation, consolidation, etc, inline with the Authority Matrix. • Ensures the accounting transactions are within the (SOCPA , IFAS , GAAP ) accounting standards. • Authorizes the opening and closing of new accounts category and sub-accounts inline with the Authority Matrix. People Management • Provides guidance and leadership to all Finance & Accounting members to ensure effective and efficient flow of work, and help them recognize their fundamental role in their functions. • Monitors the adherence of Finance & Accounting employees to the company guidelines, policies and processes. • Conducts annual performance appraisal to review direct subordinate performance, carries out disciplinary meetings when needed and recommends salary adjustments and rewards based on their performance. |
RequirementsRequirementsCandidate Requirements: The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's in Finance and Accounting with a Master's in Finance and Accounting advantageous. Intermediate years experience of Finance and Accounting within the Real Estate and Investment Sector. Be a strategic thinker and planner, loyalty and dedication, team worker, good at coaching and mentoring staff, relationship builder with a goal to achieving excellence.
