Finance Analyst

Job description / Role

My client, a large multinational business have created an exciting opportunity for a Junior Finance Analyst. The role is brand new and offers much scope in terms of a new challenge and progression for the right candidate.

The role will be to support the Finance Manager and Commercial teams in planning and implementing commercial strategies and initiatives to achieve annual and long term business objectives. Key duties will include:
- Ensuring promotions are in line with guidelines and the provision of insights from pre and post promotional analysis to the commercial team.
- Assisting the Finance Manager in the division planning process including Strategic Planning, Annual Budget Planning and forecasts.
- Producing monthly forecasts.
- Analyzing market sales by channel and sharing insights with the commercial teams.
- Providing customers and product profitability analysis to support business strategies, improve profit margins and sales growth.
- Providing financial evaluation of new products, marketing campaigns and all promotional activities.
- Producing P&L's for all divisions on a monthly basis.
- Financial training to the commercial team.

Requirements

The successful candidate will be an adviser who minimizes time spent producing and maximizing time spent analyzing. You will be a proactive Business Partner who takes ownership and accountability. With a proactive nature you will be a Risk Manager who is an expert on Excel and PowerPoint with 2-3 years experience in a FMCG environment.
