Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Key Position Accountabilities
• Prepare A&P Budget in coordination with Finance manager & Brand managers within the framework of overall company budget
• Assist Category managers & Brand managers in spending the budget wisely and selection of most cost effective vendor and solutions
• Monitor LPO’s in the intranet system and ensure the invoices are received on completion of job and booked in the system, in case of non-receipt before month cut-off provide for same
• Monitor FOC sent out to customers as Brand support and evaluate vs. budget and performance.
• Responsible to prepare monthly A&P forecast (last week) and timely close of A&P cost for the month by accounting all A&P vendor invoices, provisions in case of non-receipt of invoices and reversal of provisions where actual invoices were received (if provided earlier)
• Prepare monthly Brand profitability reports and discuss the same with the Brand managers and category managers
• Prepare Monthly A&P claims to be cross charged to the principals and send to principal after discussion with the brand manager & finance manager
• Follow up with principals in recovering the A&P claims within reasonable time
• Monthly reconciliation of A&P Local bills and other GL Accounts relating to A+P
• Account for and track prepayments
• Monitor & evaluate Events & significant promotional spends
• Process Local Vendor Payments related to A+P
• Reconcile statements of accounts with Principals
• Design & delivery MIS reports for A&P spend monthly & quarterly
• Prepare & share Brand Snapshot on quarterly rest with brand managers and finance manager
• Execute any other Task, job that the Line manager may provide from time to time

Requirements

Essential:
• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university preferably in Finance with minimum 8 years’ experience in similar Industry / role
• Self-starter and highly motivated
• Strong A&P Knowledge, preferably about FMCG products
• Good IT skills including Excel
• Ability to work under pressure
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills & presentation skills
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team and also unsupervised
Desirable:
• Experience in an A&P controller role in an FMCG
• System Experience of AX and Tableau
