Job Overview
Aldelia is looking for a bright, analytical individual to join the team in Dubai, UAE, as a Finance Assistant. Primary responsibilities will include integral day to day assistance and support of the central accounting function for Aldelia Middle East entities. You will be maintaining sales ledger for the Middle East entity. In addition the role involves processing the contractors payroll, basic day to day operation of the companys invoice financing (IF) facility, credit control, bank payments administration and contract costs recharges control.
The role involves working in a multi-national and multi-currency environment, communicating with colleagues from Middle East entities, on all aspects of company finance. Working within the finance team, you shall support the rest of team as requested by the Financial Controller. This will require managing own workload effectively to maintain and develop the performance of the Finance department.
PRIMARY ACTIVITIES
- Create and Submit draft invoices
- Maintain Sales Ledger
- Produce revenue accruals for rechargeable expenses
- Process Contractor Invoices
- Process Contractor Expense reports
- Process Contractor Expense Timesheets
- Create Payment instructions
- Create and distribute Ops Payslips
- Operate RBS IF facility
- Coordinate Credit Control
- Run aged receivables report
SECONDARY SUPPORT ACTIVITIES
- Produce ad hoc reports and analysis for Line Manager
- Support the rest of the Finance Team when required with journal postings, cashbooks and purchase ledger invoices
- Carry out cost allocations and analysis of company credit card charges
Requirements
- Qualified Accountant certification
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Accounting
- Proven technical and analytical ability
- Ability to process work with accuracy
- Understanding of modern management information systems
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels with both financial and non-financial management
- Intellectual with a strong commercial acumen

Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent
- CA, ACCA certifications would be preferred
