Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Our client, a major FMCG company require a experienced finance assistant for their Dubai office.

The main responsibilities will include:
- Prepare daily cash position report, ensure effective cash management for the group entities, monitor cash position to ensure sufficient funds are readily available
- Assist the department head in developing and implementing common cash management and reporting processes for all group companies
- Group-wide cash forecasting & conducting reviews of cash forecasts received by business units
- Bank Account Management
- Assisting the department head in establishing cash pooling structures and intercompany financing
- Developing and enhancing group Treasury's risk reporting and analytic capabilities. Assist in the preparation of the Monthly Treasury Report
- Maintain accounting records for all Treasury activity. Assist in developing and implementing Treasury Accounting policies
- Participate in the assessment, procurement and implementation of a new Treasury Management System

Requirements

- At least 3 years of wide-ranging experience in accounting and treasury operations in the MENA region.
- Trading environment experience would be highly advantageous, however candidates from all sectors will be considered as long as the experience is within the Treasury function of a sizeable and well-recognized organization.
- Excellent communication skills in English is a must.
- Must have excellent MS Office experience and especially Excel.
- You will need to be a highly driven and energetic candidate to fit into the group culture and vision.
- Related professional qualification preferential.
- Arabic speaking.
