Employment: Full Time

Al Futtaim Finance (AFS), a Central Bank of UAE regulated entity, is a wholly owned subsidiary company of the Al-Futtaim Group, the leading business conglomerate of UAE. AFS specializes in providing a range of innovative consumer finance products to customers across the UAE.Purpose:  Provide and lead the financial accounting and controller ship function reporting in to CFO of the company ensuring financial control for the company.

* Financial Accounting & reporting: Supervise Formulation and submission of detailed financial statement at required interval and reporting of the same. Preparation of SOPs, accounting policies, intercompany settlement and product accounting. Work with internal and external audit team and support.
* Financial Planning:- Preparation and reporting of annual budget forecast, monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, in line with local and regulatory requirements. Provide input / support for new business strategies, and revenue optimization
* Systems Development & Product Accounting:- Support systems development and product accounting along with core systems for retail banking product including reconciliation.
* Central bank & Regulatory reporting:- preparation and timely submission of regulatory reporting related to the business of the company. Work as contact point for all regulatory communication and ensure adherence.

Key Performance Indicators

* Supervision and preparation of financial statement and reporting in timely manner
* Month end preparation of financial with reconciliation of GL and sub ledgers including bank and receivables
* Preparation & analysis of Budget including forecast, Actuals and variance analysis
* Management of receivables & payables including accruals and accounting thereof
* Support setup of core financial system in compliance of all regulation and financial standards by participating in product design and UATs.
* Working with Internal, Statutory and regulatory auditors to provide business governance and continuous compliance

Requirements

Experience

* Strong accounting and finance back ground with knowledge of banking product an advantage
* All banking relationships and activities.
* Ability to work under pressure and prioritise the task at hand
* Advanced computer skills.
Qualifications

* MBA (Finance) or Chartered Accountant or CPA preferred.
