The Role


The Role

Our client, a global leader in Asset Integrity Services established in 1937, active in 25 countries and employing more than 4000 employees. They recently established regional offices in UAE, offering mainly NDT services to the Oil & Gas industry.

They are looking to hire a FINANCE CONTROLLER for their Dubai.

The main responsibilities of the candidate includes:

Business support

Advising management re capital expenditure, budgets, forecast and results, contributing to short and medium term action plans and strategy;
supporting the role out of agreed actions/ plans/strategy;
prepare proposals for the continuous improvement of business and administrative processes;
ensuring proper internal controls resulting in reliable reporting;
any other request from management/ or corporate head office.

Reporting

Timely preparation of monthly forecast and financial reports;
timely preparation an compliance of local statutory reporting;
preparation of monthly highlight report, actual versus budget analysis, improvement proposals.

Budget

Advising, supporting and preparation of budget and business cases for investments in close consultation with management role.

Management

Organizing and reviewing the tasks of the accountant taking reporting deadlines into consideration, monitoring progress;
ensuring compliance with local regulations.

Requirements


Requirements

Masters degree in Finance from reputed university - Western educated;
Minimum 10 years experience, of which at least 5 years on managerial level;
Experience in Project Finance is mandatory;
Excellent reporting skills;
Experience with MS Axapta is an advantage;
Strategic business partner with hands-on attitude.
