Finance Coordinator

Job description / Role

Our client is an established international firm looking for a finance coordinator to join their finance team in Dubai.

Using a proactive and detailed approach to fully support the finance team as well as managing Accounts Payable for the firm.

You will be require to do the following:
- Handles requests for new project set up
- Working with Contracts Managers and Office Managers for contracts flow process
- Utilizes accounting software (Vision) to provide monthly project lists to team
- Provides SOAs upon request to clients
- Manages all Accounts Payable for office
- Works with Office Manager for petty cash reconciliation
- Issues monthly check run
- Process all invoices (inclusive of coding/entering in vision)
- Supporting Finance in issuing invoices
- Preparing digital copy with stamp and signature
- Preparing hard copy with stamp and an original signature
- Preparing hard copy with stamp and a signature for Audit file
- Preparing hard copies to be sent out via mail with Office Assistant
- Supporting Finance in month end close tasks
- Manage the processing of weekly time sheets
- Manage the processing of monthly expense reports
- Supporting the Finance in monthly payroll

Requirements

- Must be Western Educated. - (applicants who are no Western educated will not be contacted)
- Must have at least 5 years experience.
- Bachelors degree.
- They must have a friendly, can do approach, a self starter, organised, attention to detail and a team player.
