Salary: AED 45,000 55,000

A large and well-known Food & Beverage Retail company in Dubai is looking to appoint a commercially focussed Finance Director to help drive the growth of their business. Based in the Head Office in Dubai, you must be someone with very strong commercial and strategic experience within the F&B industry, managing either multiple brands or a large complex brand with multiple sites.

The successful candidate will:
- Manage the Finance function and participate in the development of the business strategy.
- Identify areas for new business ventures, growth and lead the expansion of the F&B business unit.
- Direct feasibility and analysis of new and existing brands, identify new store sites and new brands to join the portfolio.
- Contract negotiation with existing and new brands.
- Facilitate the full cost control, forecasting and analysis of the unit.
- Support business decisions and prepare budgets in line with corporate targets, requirements and financial analysis.
- Distinguish opportunities for continuous improvement and ensure proper implementation of the established corporate financial strategy, financial policies and procedures.
- Review and develop the budget requirements of the Finance Function.
- Lead subordinates and direct them in order to achieve business goals and objectives.
- Continuously motivate subordinates to improve their performance and produce quality work.
- Communicate any changes with the organization and minimize risks through effective change management.
- Lead the Finance department, managing, training and developing the Finance team.

Requirements

- Minimum of 10 years relevant experience, with at least 5 years in a senior commercial Finance role within the F&B industry.
- Professional qualification in Finance & Accounting (ACA, CIMA, ACCA).
- Proven track record in commercial accounting and finance within large companies.
- Must have good analytical, numerical and research skills.
- Strong networking skills to build and maintain relationships with key accounts.
- Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills.
